Retail

Retail forms an integral part our income stream to raise money to build and then run the centre and its associated hospice and respite services. So, when finding yourself a bargain in one of our shops, please remember that every penny spent helps to take us further towards our goal.

Making Donations

We are happy to take donations of clothes, books, bric-a-brac, household items, shoes and accessories, CDs, DVD etc. We can also take some small electrical items, which we test prior to selling.

Even if you think we couldn’t sell some of the clothing, please let us have it as anything that we cannot sell in our shops, we can get money for from our recycling agent.

You can take your items to any of our shops during their opening hours. We do please ask that you don’t leave anything outside the shops when they are closed.

How you can help

There are many ways in which you can help our charity retail operation:

  • Donate your unwanted items that we can sell in the shops.
  • If you are a member of a team in work or a club or other organisation – why not ask your friends and colleagues to ‘spring clean’ their wardrobe and pass unwanted items on to us.
  • Volunteer to work in our shops – there are all sorts of jobs that need to be done in the preparation and sale of goods.
  • If you see any vacant premises in a good location, please do let us know as we look to grow our chain of shops. In addition to general shops, we are also hoping to provide a furniture shop when suitable premises become available.
  • Come and shop with us! Enjoy our clean and modern shops and bag yourself a bargain!
